Do you accommodate menu tastings?

We hold tastings on the weekdays between 10AM - 3PM at one of our restaurants in the French Quarter for up to 4 guests.The fee is $35/person. If you end up booking with us, the tasting payment will be applied to your final event payment.

What is your cancellation policy? 

Cancellations more than two weeks out of your event date will result in a charge of 25% or $500, whichever is greater. Cancellations less than two weeks out will result in a charge of 75% or anticipated food and beverage revenue. Force Majeure: we will work with the client to rebook any events cancelled due to unforeseeable and unpreventable causes within a year of the event date.  

Can your Chef accommodate special requests and/or dietary restrictions? 

At Dickie Brennan and Company we understand that many memories revolve around food. That being said, if you need your grandmother’s cookies or a beloved recipe at your event, we will be thrilled to replicate that experience for you.

We are also ready to prepare special dishes for any one in your group with dietary restrictions. If an item cannot be altered for the group, there will be a $30 fee for each special plate. 

Are there additional fees not included in the menu?

Yes, there is a 10.45% tax and 20% service fee on top of the menu items selected. Please also keep in mind that some venues charge an outside catering fee. Ask us about your venue or inquire with them to see if they charge any additional fees. Our team will be sure to discuss all the relevant fees with you before you are charged.

Are plates, glassware, silverware, etc. included?

A disposable option is included for parties up to 50. A $2 fee will be applied for each additional guest. China, silverware and glassware can be added for $5/guest. We are happy to arrange any additional rentals you may need. Please inquire about tables, chairs, linens, etc.

Do you require a deposit to hold my date?

To finalize your booking, we will need a 50% deposit. The remaining payment will be due 10 business days before your event date. This is also when you will turn in final guest count and menu changes.

I’m planning on providing my own alcohol. Can I hire bartenders to serve?

Certainly! We offer an array of beverage packages. If you simply need a bartender, the fee is $100/bartender for a three hour event. Need mixers and ice too? We offer a “bar set-up” fee of $10/person.
